This Sunday, April 28th from 2pm to 5pm we’re headed to the Midtown Mutt Gala by Midtown Alliance at 10th Street Park in Midtown with our friends at Punk Foodie to join our community for a day of fun on and off the red carpet!

Everyone has heard of the Met Gala, but you’re in for a treat with the Midtown Mutt Gala! The event is free for anyone to attend and you can RSVP using this link. If you’d like to have your pup participate in the costume contest then there is a small fee but you must register for the contest in advance if you’re interested – day of entries will not be accepted.

We will be the official PUParazzi sponsor! Our owner, Julia, and members of the Leashes and Litterboxes team will be snapping free instant print photos of you and your pets as you take a stroll down the red carpet or around one of many other fun photo opportunities.

Everyone knows we love having the opportunity to walk or petsit your dogs, but this event is dog-friendly so be sure to bring the dogs along for some fun in the sun!

But besides cute photos with your pups on the red carpet the next most important thing is food.

We’re truly excited to have our friends at Punk Foodie curating a unique menu for the event in partnership with Cooks with Passion. If you don’t know Punk Foodie, like us, they have the Atlanta community at the heart of what they do. Punk Foodie has been giving back to the Atlanta community daily by being a curator and storytelling platform for Atlanta pop-ups and cultivating our city’s thriving underground and independent food scene. With a database of over 800 underground chefs and a finger on the pulse of so many different pop-up venues, Punk Foodie makes sure you don’t miss what’s hot now or the next best thing. Some of the best restaurants in Atlanta were once just a pop-up operated by a chef with a menu they wanted to show off. With a weekly newsletter, annual events, along with a space in Ponce City Market, Punk Foodie continues to help others in the city discover some of the best menus from up-and-coming chefs!

After you’ve got a bite to eat you and your pup will have time to explore other pet vendors onsite, grab a drink, enjoy music from DJ Ree de la Vega, and then settle in for the main event: a costume contest on the red carpet!

Hope to see you there!
